About Us
PBWA is made up of professional women, business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs from the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, as well as neighboring areas in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Our mission is to support and nurture the development of lasting relationships, leadership skills, and community service within our membership.
In 1994, thirteen women came together to form PBWA.
Since its inception, PBWA has flourished due to the dedication and hard work of over 100 women who have generously volunteered their time, skills, and expertise. These incredible women have been the backbone of our organization, contributing their diverse talents to create meaningful programs, events, and initiatives that support and empower fellow members. Their commitment to fostering a collaborative environment has played a vital role in the continued success and growth of PBWA, allowing us to create lasting impact in both our professional lives and the communities we serve.
